Month End
A month end audit:
July has come and gone, like January to June 15.
July, and I'm still not perfect, I still hate myself.
They say, love yourself, we have quarrels, me and myself...I love myself, but not enough.
Not enough to pull myself together and be someone.
My greatest frustration in life is the inability to become someone.
The inability to fit into that stereotype of success.
Oh and btw, did you know that indefinite pronouns are grouped into singular and plural?
[This is a lesson about Pronoun Agreement]
Singular Indefinite Pronouns:
anybody Anybody would want his or her life to be wonderful.
everybody Everybody wants his or her house to be picture perfect.
nobody Nobody wants his or her life to be miserable.
somebody Somebody takes his mind off things.
anything Anything makes him or her happy.
everything Everything he does seems to go unnoticed.
nothing Nothing he does would ever seem to make a difference.
something Something he once said must have made her change her mind.
anyone Anyone in his right mind would want to be loved.
everyone Everyone thought her mind was fickle and that the relationship wouldn't last long.
someone Someone warned him of the possibility of getting hurt.
no one No one believed his luck.
one One must not give up his hopes too easily.
each Each of his actions must show how much he cares for her.
either Either he chooses to swallow his pride or just give her up all together.
much Much of his actions were appreciated for some time.
neither Neither him nor her need each other, they have separate lives to lead.
another Another reason for him or her to just drop the whole act.
nothing Nothing in her actions now show that she cares for him in any way.
Plural Indefinite Pronouns:
many Many desire their love lives to be peachy.
most Most want their lives to go on routinarily.
more More want their lives to be amazing but boring.
both Both want their lives to be lived separately.
few Few are happy to be single.
all All would be grateful if they would pass the board exam.
others Others are happy in their new found career.
several Several think that they should leave the country before they get any older.
*every is an adjective not a pronoun, it always is singular
**many is singular, many a is plural
Singular Indefinite + him or her = Everybody wants his or her wedding to be perfect.
Plural Indefeinite + their = Many want their wedding to be perfect.
